I was first introduced to the world of drifting in 2002 by a well-known Japanese anime called Initial D. I found myself becoming more and more interested in this “new” and interesting motorsport after watching numerous youtube videos of Japanese drivers. I purchased my car, 1995 Nissan 240sx SE, in July 2003 with the aspiration to drift it. A few months later, I bought the first part for my car: Tein HE coilovers. Going to school and working non-stop slowed my drifting dreams, but I was determined and timing was everything for me. A Redtop SR20DET motor was swapped in my car in the summer of 2006 and scrounged up enough money for a Tomei 2-way Limited Slip Differential a few months later. That was it, I felt like I was ready for my first event. 
I have attended multiple local drift events as a spectator, but genuinely felt like I was mentally, physically, and financially prepared to be the one in the driver’s seat. My first drifting event was Hyperfest 2006 at Summit Point, WV, participating in Drift 101. I’ll admit…I was terrified of the walls. But from then on, my fear quickly turned into excitement and I was determined to drift at an event at least once or twice a month. I have gone back to several Summit Point drift practices and participated in numerous track and parking lot events along the east coast. I received partial sponsorship from Drift 411 in the beginning of 2007, in which I am extremely thankful for their support. I am particularly excited about competing in U.S Drift events and several practices along the east coast throughout 2008.
